Finding Evidence
Search Filters developed by staff of Flinders Filters and CareSearch help to target literature searching in a particular subject area.
The following filters may prove useful:
- Llt.search on the Lowitja Institute website will help to access literature on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in the PubMed database
- Primary Health Care Search Filter on the PHC RIS website enables searching on a number of topics in the PubMed database
- The Residential Aged Care Search Filter on the PalliAGED site assists searching on issues in Residential Aged Care in the PubMed database
Flinders Filters has created one click searching to assist health professionals to identify specific, high quality and relevant evidence to support practice from within the PubMed literature database.
If you would like to use the One Click Search function, you can directly access the search filter by selecting:
- One Click Health Searching - search the PubMed database for literature filtered by health condition or illness, or
- One Click Health Searching by Profession - search the PubMed database for literature filtered by health profession
