Understanding Research Resources

Research can be a major force in ensuring quality in care, service delivery and outcomes for individuals and systems.

The Caring Futures Institute has close ties with a wide range of professional bodies, community groups, health and social services and businesses and industries. We work closely with these organisations to ensure that we are contributing to our community through our research.

There are many different education resources that students, educators, health professionals and industry partners can use to learn about research processes and research opportunities. Building your knowledge can help you consider, plan and conduct meaningful research that can benefit consumers, health staff and organisations.

This section connects you to a range of different education and learning opportunities to build your knowledge, skills and confidence in research and research partnerships:

  • URC Videos - Learn about CNHS partnership research with videos featuring key researchers from the Flinders University College of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • URC Modules - These short modules introduce current research concepts to increase your knowledge on the processes and mechanisms of undertaking research in an Australian context
  • External Learning Opportunities - Collection of Australian and international resources that can assist you to expand your research knowledge, develop your collaborative skills and to improve your grant writing abilities
